Tasting notes:
Ruby red in colour; on the nose it is intense, with notes of red fruit, sweet spices and vanilla. On the palate it is soft and with a good and pleasant acidity.

Pouring a medium red/garnet color, the 2023 Rosso Di Montalcino shows off polished and forward notes of cedar, oak spices, ripe cherries, and toast. Medium-bodied, it’s zesty with notes of salted orange on the palate, with youthful chalky tannins and a clean finish. It’s more than a simple quaffer and has the ability to improve over the next couple of years.

Rich and laced with plum, black cherry, raspberry, iron and tobacco flavors. There’s a solid structure underneath, and this shows fine balance and length. Enjoyable now and even better in a year.
