Set in the heart of Central Otago's Wanaka subregion, our 12-hectare vineyard sits alone at 380 metres above sea level on a stunning north facing slope that hides a special geology. Here we are obsessively dedicated to the production of exceptional Pinot Noir, in fact it's all we grow.

The vineyard was established in 2002 and after a decade of care our patience was rewarded with consistently exceptional fruit and so in 2012 Akitu, which means the apex or summit, was born. This is fine wine from a fine and unique place - Central Otago at its exceptional best.
