Dense and concentrated the aromatics of this wine indicate the depth and intensity to be delivered in the mouth. There are savoury notes of hedgerow, spice and dark chocolate balanced beautifully by rich forest berry fruits and black licorice.
That complexity and depth of flavour builds further in the mouth – there is a softness and sophistication to this release that belies the ripeness of the fruit. You can see the impact of allowing the grapes to reach full flavour on the vine in the depth and weight of this release and layering of savoury notes with richer dark fruits. Benefiting from mild conditions there is a balancing element of natural acid – showing as candied cumquat with side notes of tobacco, fresh raisins and a gentle earthy finish

The bold and chocolatey 2022 Nirvana Reserve Shiraz delivers a powerful mix of blackberry compote and licorice aromas with a strong serve of sweet oak fitting right in. Ample and mouthfilling in style with plush open-knit berry flavours and subtle savoury tones that are well supported by gravelly tannins through to a generous finish.
