Vibrant deep crimson with magenta hues. Lifted aromas of violets, black cherries and peppery spices. Rich flavours of black cherry and dark chocolate on the medium bodied palate with layers of sugary tannins interwoven with pepper and bright freshness.

”The spice and lift, especially on the nose, comes from a small dab of viognier co-fermented with the shiraz. Maturation in about 20% new French oak has added depth without excess. Aromas are spicy and plummy, with a touch of licorice. The palate is loaded with supple plummy fruit, supported by fine tannins and the structure of the viognier. It has poise, generosity and a rounded finish.
