Aromas of exotic violets and cherry are layered with red berry and blackcurrant. The palate is medium-bodied and stylish, with tremendous depth and concentration of fruit delivered with real elegance. Tannins sit seamlessly, oak is well managed, and the wine pulls together everything you want in a Frankland River cabernet.

Deep dark colour with a bright purple edge; the bouquet confirms the freshness of this wine, with attractive cassis, raspberry and sweet cedary oak aromas, and just a light background of tobacco and briar, the palate full bodied and nicely balanced with appropriate tannins and a long, harmonious carry. A classy wine, and eerily quite Bordelaise.
