Tasting notes:
Sagrantino is deeply coloured and is one of the most tannic red grape varieties, despite generally being a medium bodied wine the plumage of tannin promotes the mouthfeel. The exotic red cherry, dried herb, and smoky blue-fruits typify the aroma and flavours of Sagrantino.

95 Points, Wine Orbit (Sam Kim review)
Wonderfully complex and enticing with dark berry, smoky bacon, toasted spice and roasted nut aromas, leading to a flavoursome palate displaying plump mouthfeel and delectable fruit flavours with a spicy undertone. Brilliantly complemented by juicy acidity and fine grainy tannins, making it a fabulous food partner. At its best: now to 2032.
92 Points. James suckling (Nick stock review)
This is delivered with a wealth of summer berries and has plenty of fragrance. Really saturated and intense. The palate holds a deeply round mid-section with bold, ripe tannins sweeping through the finish. Impressive.
