Tasting notes;
A beguiling combination of ripe raspberries and blackberries, roses, red liquorice, Chinese five-spice, and fresh cedar, lead to a concentrated palate with superb purity of flavour and vitality thanks to a fine backbone of natural acidity. Dense, fine-grained tannins and cedary oak beautifully frame the wine providing a taut yet silky texture, that leads to long, succulent, spicy finish.

Impeccably detailed with stunning fruit purity and elegant complexity, the wine shows Black Doris plum, raspberry, subtle spice and floral aromas with a discreet infusion of cedary oak. It’s wonderfully weighted and soothing in the mouth displaying outstanding fruit richness and opulence, while remaining elegant and harmonious, backed by plenty of polished tannins. Seductive and hugely appealing. At its best: 2025 to 2040.

Inky, generously proportioned syrah with dark berry, cocoa powder, liquorice, floral/violet, black pepper and classy oak flavours. Very impressive syrah that can be appreciated now but promises to age magnificently.

A very enticing, quite masculine bouquet, aromas of dark berries and spices with baked black currant and licorice, toasty smoky wood tones, some exotic spice then ageing meats. Lovely mouthfeel with a core of dark red berry fruit flavours encased by firm tannins and acid line, fruit flavours reflect the bouquet with the tannins are bold and chalky, plenty of youthful energy and power. Delicious, taut, new , varietal a developing complexity, dry and lengthy. I see this as a food wine for the next 2-3 years with more opportunity as a stand alone by the glass option from 2025 through 2030. Can’t wait to try this wine again in 2 years time.
