Variety: Sangiovese
The name "Ventisei," which means "twenty-six" in Italian, is a clear reference to the number of selected land parcels used to cultivate the Sangiovese grapes, from which this wine is primarily produced. These parcels are known for their unique terroir that imparts distinctive characteristics to the wine, resulting in a beverage of notable depth and complexity.
Tasting notes:
Ventisei Nobile di Montepulciano is characterized by an intense ruby-red color with garnet reflections, typical of mature wines. The nose opens with intense aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, integrated with spicy notes of black pepper and a slight touch of tobacco and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodied and enveloping, with well-balanced tannins leading to a long, persistent finish.
