Elegant, sweet and tempting, Barbera's intense and fruity notes emerge. Deep purple red. Vinous, fresh and well-balanced. It is an easy-drinking wine that is not overly strong but, at the same time, tasty and rich.

Strawberry, raspberry, plenty of baking spice, dried flower, a slight pepper and herb undercurrent. Light and crisp, all red fruits, acidity is a bit sappy, with a finish of solid length. A spicy lively number, slightly hard, but nice.

The 2024 Barbera d'Alba is a delight. Soft and understated, with lovely mid-palate depth, the 2024 is a tasty Barbera to drink now and over the next handful of years. Crushed flowers, sweet red-toned fruit, cedar and sweet pipe tobacco build nicely in glass.
