Tasting notes:
Mint, menthol and blackcurrant all wrapped up in fancy pants subtle French oak – ooh la la! The use of first and second fill sexy French oak barrels may make the bean counters cringe but pays dividends in the glass. Soft, fleshy and full with embracing lingering tannins this is a wine of weight and substance but with balance as it’s middle name. Classic Clare Valley Cabernet at its best. Consider flavours of Christmas cake, cassia bark and soft voluptuous berries melded with subtle hint of cedar from high end oak. A wine that is in its infancy but will develop amazing secondary characters.

5 Stars & 95/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, February 2023 (2020 Vintage)
"Beautifully styled and enticing, the wine shows blackcurrant, toasty oak, vanilla, mixed spice and rich floral characters on the nose. The palate is equally attractive with excellent weight and persistency, splendidly framed by loads of chalky tannins, finishing impressively long and structured. At its best: now to 2035."
